Join us on a magical musical journey through the history and culture of the Emerald Isle. Featuring a cast of two vocalists and an actor, as well as Irish step dancers and a traditional Irish instrumentalist, A Celtic Celebration traverses a wide range of Irish/Celtic repertoire with elegance and dramatic flair. Musical highlights include excerpts from Sir Hamilton Harty’s An Irish Symphony and Malcolm Arnold’s Four Scottish Dances and also will include music from films Braveheart and Titanic. Wonderful Broadway standards from Brigadoon and Finian’s Rainbow round out the show together with a rollicking audience sing along. Since its premiere in Indianapolis in March 2000, A Celtic Celebration has had critical and commercial success with several orchestras, including Pittsburgh, Seattle and St. Louis.
