That's right, 'Vegas Baby!' For the very first time Conductor Jack Everly and your orchestra take a spin on the musical roulette wheel with hip classics such as Luck Be A Lady, Hey Big Spender, Viva Las Vegas, My Way, This Could Be The Start Of Something Big, The Lady Is A Tramp, Lucky Day, Fly Me To The Moon, I’ve Got You Under My Skin just to name a few. The cast of high rollers includes stellar stars from Broadway and the Vegas Strip along with Mr. Showmanship himself, Martin Preston as the legendary Liberace. The music, the celebrities, the showgirls and the city will all be musically honored in this fast paced, jackpot evening of musical hit after hit. Just remember, 'What happens in the concert, stays in the concert!'

Keyboard, Fender, Lead Trumpet, and Trap Set Player can be supplied by SPC (at Orchestra’s expense).  Please inquire a.s.a.p.   The more notice, the better chance of availability. Please give special consideration to utilizing the trap set player that already knows and can travel with the show.

Please note:  There is a solo piano, located center stage, just up stage of the conductors podium.  Guest Artist, only, plays this piano.

LOCAL NEEDS

To be provided by the Local Producing Orchestra

• Local Showgirls:  2 – 6 (must be an even number) local WOMEN
• Height:  Between 5'8 and 6'0
• Dress Size: 2, 4, 6, or 8
• Weight: needs to be proportional to height-- but should not exceed 130lbs in any case
• Age:  20-40
• 3 yrs minimum dance training
• Must have a sexy, charismatic stage presence.
• Must move and dance comfortably in 3 or 4 inch heels
• Must be comfortable wearing a full headdress and very revealing (yet tasteful) gowns / costumes
• Must provide their own appropriate undergarments, hose/tights and shoes as requested
• SPC reserves the right to, politely, exclude any woman who does not meet these standards
  

….And as fabulous as many drag queens would be, all showgirls need to be women.

• 2 -  24 to 28” stools are needed (Black or Wood tone)
• A FOUR PERSON RHYTHM SECTION - WRAPPED AROUND BRASS SECTION
  

1) SYNTHESIZER,

3) ACOUSTIC BASS & FENDER,
4) GUITAR
(THE SYNTHESIZER IS USED FAR ALL KEYBOARD SOUNDS) 

• Roundtrip shipment of music, costumes, minimal sound gear , and prop boxes.  SPC staff will supply packing labels, with values of contents.  The cost of the shipment, and insurance for these packages, is the responsibility of the local orchestra. 
• Two wardrobe dressers are needed for:
• 5 hours steaming and ironing prep (depending on the number of local showgirls added – the prep time may increase)
• each performance starting 1 1/2  hours prior to curtain
• Please see stage layout for orchestra set up details.
• Entrances from the house are desirable.  The stairs do not need railings, unless required by your local laws.
• 2 mic stands for wireless handheld
• Stagehands will have items to carry on and off stage.  If possible, the SPC would like to have 2 stagehands wear a small pair of feathered wings (over their standard back stage clothing.
• OPTIONAL:   A “Vegas” sign is for a $500.00 rental fee, along with shipping and insurance (approx $900 - 1500.00 depending on shipping distance, round trip). Five electrical circuits are needed for the sign.  It takes less than 45 minutes to hang the sign in most halls, and it looks fabulous.
• STAGE DÉCOR OPTIONS:  Orchestra may add, at Orchestra’s expense, Mylar curtains, glitzy drapes, or other stage dressings to add to the Vegas Lounge atmosphere.

• SPC also has one  costume for a  SHOWBOY which is a nice balance and fun. 
  
• Requirements: height 5' – 11” - 6' - 3"
• waist no bigger than 33"
• weight no higher than 185lbs 
• should be “absolutely ripped, with 6-pack abs” since the costume is shirtless.
